Not particularly.
It's not like every time I log onto BGSF I anxiously await news for TES:V. It'll come when it's ready; be patient.
Indeed so, if you're starting to lose interest, the best thing to do would probably be to simply find something else to keep your interest until Bethesda does decide to say something.
Thing is when they start showing screenshots, thats it, a deadline is guaranteed, they want the freedom to work on it for as long as they want to because in TES IV they lost that freedom with the trailers, fans end up disappointed at the things that didn't make it in the series or the radical changes in the game, people who looked forward to the game were stunned at the difference between the trailer and the actual game (not in a good way mind you), announcements lead to screenshots which lead to trailers which lead to revealing radical game changes which lead to conferences which will eventually set a deadline for the game, because of the deadline in oblivion, many quests were left unfinished and many details were left untouched, some of the major questlines such as the DB questline had elements which weren't finished, many sub-projects had to be scrapped because of lack of time and in the end everybody gets disappointed.
But if you DON'T advertise the game, no one will be interested in it, excluding a few devoted fans that will automatically be all over anything related to their favorite series. Bethesda is going to have to give us something at some point, if it turns out that the something leads to hype that Bethesda can't satisfy, than it's a risk that must be taken.
We're still not hearing anything until they decide they're ready to tell us, though, and when that will be, we really can't be sure. Though I'd be lying to say I don't want it to be sooner than later.
