Opinions on The Cannibalism Perk?

I've made a new character a few weeks ago and he's going for the NCR. I'm trying to role play here (bear with me). Anyways, I've picked the Cannibalism perk and the Ghastly Scavenger perk. I've picked these two because I'm playing on very hard/hardcoe and it makes sense to do whatever means necessary to get food, right?

Well, in your opinion is it bad for an NCR/Good character to eat other corpses in order to survive?

Don't get me wrong, on my Legion character I eat whatever I please.

You get Negative Karma each time you make use of either perk.

That should tell you that a "good" character shouldn't be eating corpses. That said, you can still support the NCR and be one of the worst examples of Humanity this side of the Legion; the two aren't mutually exclusive.

For me, it depends on how you go about it. If you do as more of a out of food, and need to eat a person, then a good person could do it. You do gain negative Karma, but unless you have mods, you should remain a saint even being a cannibal.
