Opinions on the Orsimer?

Since I've asked about the Dunmer, I figured, why not the Orcs too.

My favorite race! Of course the Orsinium and City Orcs are my favorite. They are just adorable.

Roughly the majority of my characters are Orcs.

I love the orcs, especially the Berserk ability. I even made my mage a orc.

They need to do something about that underbite. ...Perhaps with the services of an orc-thodontist...

I never particularly like the Orsimer as a humanoid race. Those tusks of theirs sort of throw me off. In truth, I find them kind of boar-ing and two-dimensional.

My first impression of the Orsimer was back in '02 playing Morrowind. I had never played an Elder Scroll game before, but did read a lot of fantasy novels and play many D&D games, where Orcs were portrayed as mindless savages. Imagine my surprise when I go to the town of Caldera seeking the infamous "Creeper" who resided in a house owned by Orcs. That I suit up before entering the house thinking I'd be in a battle; and then be greeted by civilized Orcs dressed in snazzy outfits who spoke proper English. It was a real mind blower and was one of the many reasons I fell in love with Morrowind and the whole TES universe. : :tes:

So long story short. I like their look (especially in Morrowind and Skyrim) and love their culture and religion.:)

I love how they first started out as mere enemy npcs and worked their way up to playable race. I appreciate that they're not the types stereotypical orcs out there.

I never thought much about them until I decided to make an orc character a couple years back. He became my main character and by far and away the one I've put the most hours into, so it's safe to say I appreciate Orsimer more than I used to.
