The only thing i wish they would implament from fallout is where when you kill and enemy and if you have bloody mess their bodies splode and weps goes flying but you can search their body to retrive their wep no matter where it went. i had this problem alot in oblivion where id kill an enemy and its wep goes flying gods no where and sit there 10 mins to find it. Opinions on if they should add this? im NOT talking about perks

Oooh, I hadn't thought of that but I'd like it too! (not the bloody mess, but the getting the weapon when it flies off).

But oh noes for the immersion folks.

Oh man, you have no clue man, people here hate that sort of thing and I do to, if I hit someone in the head with a warhammer should it cave in their skull? Most of the time, should claymoring someone in the neck something that could decapitate them? Most of the time. But is stabbing someone in the chest with a dagger and having all of their limbs EXPLODE going to happen? Hell no.

I don't really like it, tbh.

I wouldn't mind this so much, because at least it makes some sense.

I think realistic decapitations are perfectly acceptable in a game where there are swords and axes.

I think having someones body explode in the example you gave to be stupid and pointless. So in short I agree with your point.

Maybe a destruction spell for it would work better though as magic would give a logical excuse for it.

Let me translate for you all, Hes saying that he wants to be able to click on a persons body and be able to get there stuff like you could in fallout, unlike in oblivion where if you killed them and there sword went flying you had to chase it down hills (and i often lost them at night).

I'd like it

im not talking about a bloddy mess perk im talking about when you killed someone in oblivion with the ragdoll the weps would fly away from there body into bushes somewhere. Im talkng about being able to search there body and get the weps without having to actually look around in every bush to find it

The poll isnt about the exploding, its about being able to loot a weapon (and/or sheild) from a dead enemy instead of having to run around looking for it. I personally liked this in FO3 because in oblivion i often play stealth classes and its annoying pulling out a torch to find their weapon which magically goes flying even though i shot them with an arrow. If the physics were more realistic i wouldnt care either way.

Yeah, I picked up on that too, and I also agree. Especially frustrating at the top of a hill/slope and the weapon goes flying down the hills, lol. Or down to the bottom of the towers in the Oblivion gates. . . :banghead:

There just looking to complain, they read the first line and decided to flame.
I get what your saying it was pretty plain english to me, and I agree there was nothing more annoying in oblivion then chasing a glass sword down a hill only for it to get lost in the tall grass.

Well if this poll is just about that, then I wouldn't mind being able to loot their weapon from their corpse even if it flew off a cliff, but either way I don't truly care.

No. If the weapon flies over a cliff yet is miraculously still accessible in the corpse's inventory, that utterly destroys "teh all-important immershunz."

No. This is handholding. Not good. I'd rather lose a very expensive item trying to search for it than have it handed to me just be clicking on a dead body.

I liked that option in Fallout: 3 and New Vegas.
It saved me some time and frustration.

I actually agree with you. It annoyed me no end when that weapon I'd spent ages fighting for off some bandit goes flying into somewhere irretrievable. I was happy this was addressed in Fallout 3 and NV, and it didn't make the experience any less immersive either.

Because of teh extremely buggy havok physoics engine, most weapons in Oblivion ended up falling through the floor.

I like the idea of being able to loot a weapon off a dead npc if they lost it and it disappeared somewhere, that way we can get the loot regardless.
