Ops won't have ammo?

Post » Tue Sep 28, 2010 7:01 am

Ok so, so far the only ways to get ammo are command posts and soldiers. if you are an operative and you get behind enemy lines, no soldiers will be there.... no commands posts for your team there.... you shoot 3 guys.... OUT OF AMMO! So they say guns will have little to no ammo when u pick them up if you can pick up guns at all..... SO my question is what ways will the ops get ammo???

Well move with a small group. My alpha group are all lights. Operative, medic, soldier/engineer. Operative is the point man but you don't need to be an operative to sneak behind enemy lines. Also go capture an enemy supply post. Or use your pistol and if that is empty well my light operative will always have a knife.

You have spare magazines, you know. You make it sound like you only have the one magazine.

Or that shooting down an enemy will take up a whole magazine.

good point. but i want to spy on the enemy team and tell my team what they are doing. like Enemy Light Medic going to command post on the northeast side of the security tape.

It means,in a way,"do what your class is designated to do",i translate it this way at least.
It means Lonewolves must stick with groups...it means learn your class and u'll be effective.

I'm guessing most operatives will choose the light class (so you can run around the opposing team, heavy would have to walk through them) so you should be able to get back and forth well enough, and I think if your doing you're job right you can cut through the apposing teams backs and let the soldier come to you.

Practice the art of moving in, mission accomplish, moving out.
That's why OPs have disguise so they can go in, do their thang and go out.
No need for action - specially behind enemy lines!

Or have a soldier meet you half way then flank together.

It was meant to be reference to "when incapacitated use pistols to finish them off" ;)

Half of his SMG mag was spent firing everywhere but the enemy. And he shot the freshly incapped guy with 8 pistol shots. ~10 SMG shots and ~8 pistol shots doesn't sound that bad, even if he was wounded beforehand.

*waves* Light Soldiers will be underrated til people are running out of ammo a Heavy SLDR can't get to in time

*to Wraith* You take the left flank i got the right flank

Also we will have Italian taking point, they always think SLDR will take lead so they will be surprised with flashbangs coming out of nowhere (plus he can split off easily to either side to heal us)

so yes it would svck being lone wolf, no ammo to speak of...thats why they made the game a team oriented one so you have someone who can help the situation ^- my point

could always team up with a light soldier and the two of you use suppressors to lower the chance of being found
