I talked to Ignacio, suceeded at the speech check and told him i worked for the NCR. I exhausted all dialog options, but there was no option to get the terminal password from him.

If im reading the wiki right, if i dont get the password from him, he wont give nay quest rewards?

The quest reward from him is pretty insignifigant, although, if you power Helios to Freemont Street and Westside, it will help you with Arcade Gannon's like points so you can do his quest.

Also, look upstairs in the bedroom, there's a terminal PW up there.

I dont understand why i cant ask him for the password or get the reward from him though. A big book of science would be nice.

Your issue is that you told him you work for the NCR he is a follower and, wants you to be independent. He assumes if you are NCR you will use the power the way they want and, not distribute it to the entire region. If you have a save from before you told him you were NCR, load it and, do the independent path.

Unfortunately, i don't.

You can still find the code in his room (without having to pick his pocket) Then distribute the power to the entire waste. He may still give you the rewards but, I've never tried this and, don't know for sure if he will. His main concern is fairness to everyone not just the NCR so he may still be grateful if you do what he believes is the "right thing".

Where would you direct the power if you wanted the most benefit (roleplay-wise) for Mr. House?
I'm guessing Strip, but it beats me.

Depends on the role your playing,

NCR want the power sent to the strip and, McCarren,
the Followers want it distributed to everyone,
Evil player could use it as a weapon.

It's all up to you. :whistling:

Tried it, he simply doesnt care and theres no option to tell him "Hey, im going to fix this power plant.".
