So, I've finally decided to take the plunge, so to speak.

I've been traveling with Jenassa for a while now. We completed "The Book of Love" together so it finally seemed like a good time to pop the big 'Q'.

However, I have no option for marriage when I talk to Jenassa. I'm wearing an amulet of Mara (not the one from the quest if that matters). I've tried dismissing her (still no option) and rehiring her (no option).

I've got UFO installed, and I just posed the same question on that Nexus thread in case that's what's causing the issue....if not, any idea what may be causing it, or how I can work around it?

You have to talk to Maramal in Riften.

Oh...I think I remember that conversation (from another character). Is that where he says something about marriage being different in Skyrim and all that?

Correct. After that dialogue, you'll have the option to marry who ever you want.
