An option to Starter Islands

On your escape from Coldharbor, the Prophet informs you that the skyshard can transport you anywhere in Tamriel.

What if . . . that were true, that you could find yourself in any random area of Tamriel.

Ideas? Future patch option?

Since other areas will be filled with monsters higher than level 10... bad idea

The game isn't designed for such an idea to be workable. You'd either find yourself in areas far too high level, in areas that aren't even a part of your chosen faction, or in the middle of cyrodiil without any preparation.

You can sneak at level one. It can be limited to your faction.

So now it can't transport you anywhere in Tamriel.

I asked a basic question and then for ideas. I did not propose anything concrete. Take is as you will.

A laudable idea for ultimate sandbox-ness, but not particularly viable. Not only would there be issues with level scaling, but questing as well. Ending up in the wrong place first thing (a main quest related seige? Right in front of a major boss chamber?) could severely break the questlines.

May be something fun to implement near end-game though for some off-the-cuff exploration. Nothing says adventure like ending up in a random spot in an enemy faction's area!
