Orange Master File Problem

Just trying to keep a nice, green load order for as few problems as possible. Two other files are also affected, but they are imported / merged so they should be fine. Mothership Crew must be active, and the DLC are showing up orange as in the picture, as if they've been modified. These are straight from the installation disk / Games For Windows Live hidden folder.

Simple fix. Load up FO3Edit and when the "Master/Plugin Selection" window pops up, right-click and hit "Select None" then check off Mothership Crew.esm and hit OK. After FO3Edit has loaded everything select Mothership Crew.esm in the left window and right-click on it. Find "Sort Masters" near the bottom and click it. After that just exit FO3Edit normally (it'll save the changes). Then just check to see if Mothership Crew.esm is green in Wrye Flash.

It worked like a charm, thank you! I don't know what Sort Masters does because I don't use FO3Edit anymore, but all that matters is that everything is green, 4GB LAA patch is uninstalled because it crashes, AND there is room for NMC textures performance pack. I've never, ever had FO3 + major mods working so well.

nenina,

With regards to your 4gb LAA issue, check RickerHK's post to me at the end of the FOSE thread just below.

Thanks, just fixed mine, too. I had a master and a plugin with the orange problem. I assumed the modders at the time of making the mods had wrong load orders as both of them are like the image in the OP, with Broken Steel before all other DLC's. I never had issues but prefer all green as well :)

Sure can. It's not just for .esm's that have master files out-of-order, it's for .esp's as well.
