So what is the average life span of an Orc? Well I think that it should be shorter that High Elf, becouse of the transformation, but really don't know how many years. So could anyone to find it out? I checket TIL, UESP, everything, but there is so much written about the Orcs (almoust as Argonians) so it is really ahrd to find out stuff like that

Orcs are thought to be rather short-lived, the result of a curse transferred from the Nords.

Orkey (Old Knocker): A loan-god of the Nords, who seem to have taken up his worship during Aldmeri rule of Atmora. Nords believe they once lived as long as Elves until Orkey appeared; through heathen trickery, he fooled them into a bargain that 'bound them to the count of winters'. At one time, legends say, Nords only had a lifespan of six years due to Orkey's foul magic. Shor showed up, though, and, through unknown means, removed the curse, throwing most of it onto the nearby Orcs.

I've heard figures of around 60 or so. Gortwog gro-Nagrom, King of Nova Orsinium is a prime example of an orc reaching those ages.

Perhaps Orcs do not live as long as some other races simply because of their harsher lifestyle than most? Although i don't think there's anyway of comparing lifespans of Orcs from High Rock to say Orcs born and raised in the Imperial City.

well...I've heard that as an argument in previous age related discussions and thats fine, but I like to try and think of it as "how long would each of these racse live under ideal conditions?" and I personally picture Orcs living about as long as your average races of men, with the Mer living a good deal longer. (Even without the aid of magic)

Do you happen to have a link to those discussions?

Such threads usually aren't worth bookmarking, but 'lifespan' is long and specific enough to search with.

So Morrowind uses earth years and calenders? I noticed as the eras went from one to the next over time
the birth sign cylces where added, and once it even shortened. Aren't birth signs related to months?
And theirs? Interesting topic indeed...
