Orc Spellsword\ Battlemage

Okay, I wanted some help with character creation. I know it's been five years since the game was released, so I don't know exactly how many people are floating around the forum. Anyway, I want your opinion on this character.

Race: Orc
Sign: Atronach
Focus: Magic
Main Attributes: Endurance, luck
Skills: Blade, Block, Heavy Armor, Armorer, Destruction, Alteration, Restoration

These starting stats were pulled from http://www.linklost.com/occ/

Health: 110
Magicka: 210
Fatigue: 185
Encumbrance: 225
Max level: 49 (this is the level at which all my major skills are maxed)

The idea behind this character is focusing on Combat, while using magic for long range, utility, and support. I'm not a power gamer, I'm not that worried about getting +5 attribute bonuses at level up (though that would be wonderful). A big part of my RPG philosophy is self-sufficience and survivability, I'm always the tank. However, the open class system gives me the option to play with magic (something I don't get to do in most RPGs). All this being said, I am open to suggestions. Note that I am dead set on being an orc, I just don't like any of the other races that much (and there are no dwarves, which is what I'd normally play as). I understand that I won't be blowing things up like a mage, but like I said, magic is meant to be a secondary skill, not a main focus. I did, however, make some choices above in an attempt to give my magic a boost, since it will start out weak.

Some final notes: I don't plan on leveling intelligence, and willpower is basically useless to me. My priorities, in order from greatest to least, are: endurance, strength, luck. I also plan on dabbling in things like alchemy for magicka potions, and illusion to make up for my low personality. I plan on uping luck every level, and putting the rest in strength and endurance. If you see any problems (aside from being an orc) let me know.

Good luck on your new character, I've considered making one similar to yours at times as well. Anyway try to get Luck up as fast as you can, my current character Broly almost has his at 100. Luck also affects the power of your alchemy potions. I saw something on UESP about it. This character reminds me of my level 54 Palladin I made in oblivion when I was going through a wow addiction phase. Something that may take getting used to is picking up alchemy ingredients, I sometimes forget when I'm travelling to stop and pick up some flowers or loot meat off of a corpse. Have fun!

Your Orc's low starting speed and agility can pose problems in the long run.
Especially agility as it affects how often you get staggered.
I would at least suggest that you put some points into agility and speed as well as the others.
Another option might be useing your Restoration and Alchemy(as a minor) to make Fortify agility and or speed spells and potions.

The last Orc I made was a pure powerhouse with restoration,a blunt weapon and some heavy armor.
Your Orc should do just fine.
