In comparison to other elves Orcs are a lot less magicka based, much more combat driven. None of the other elves really have the armourer tradition of the Orcs.

For lifespan, I've always seen it as; Orc, Beast Races, Man, Bosmer, Dunmer, Altmer.

Argonians apparently live as long as elves. I read it another of these topics.

As far as I know, no information is provided on the average lifespan of Argonians, so I've just assumed that it's roughly equivalent to humans unless said otherwise.

As to Orcs, I'm not too sure, I may be mistaken but I thought I saw mention of their average lifespan being shorter than human's, whether that's a physiological thing or just that their lifestyle leads to them dying younger on average though is another matter, in any case, I'd expect they don't live as long as other elves.

Orcs also have Orkey's curse:

"Nords believe they once lived as long as Elves until Orkey appeared; through heathen trickery, he fooled them into a bargain that 'bound them to the count of winters'. At one time, legends say, Nords only had a lifespan of six years due to Orkey's foul magic. Shor showed up, though, and, through unknown means, removed the curse, throwing most of it onto the nearby Orcs."

What I'd like to know, is how long do Khajiit live? How do they age in comparison to elves and men? *wishes there was more lore info on Khajiit*

Khajiit are elves, or at least they were elves before Azura changed them (quite the artist, isn't she)? I'd assume they live as long as Bosmer.

They weren't quite Elves just yet. According to their creation Myth, all creatures on Nirn were still trapped between plants and people - literally Forest People. Azura was the first to provide stability, a little while later Y'ffre then fixed everything to the form they were in. The Bosmer radical carnivorism also finds root in this, those trees and plants are their families.

I thought I read somewhere that the Argonians go through a male phase and a female phase. I can't seem to find where I read that, though - does anyone remember?

EDIT: Ah-ha! Here we go, it's the in-game description for TES III:

At home in water and on land, the Argonians of Black Marsh are well-suited to the treacherous swamps of their homeland, with natural immunities protecting them from disease and poison. The female life-phase is highly intelligent, and gifted in the magical arts. The more aggressive male phase has the traits of the hunter: stealth, speed, and agility. Argonians are reserved with strangers, yet fiercely loyal to those they accept as friends.

Orcs, having been cursed apparently more than once depending upon whose culture myths you read and having for the most part been brought up in extremely cold and barbaric conditions in a warrior society, tend to have short life spans. Individuals who have lived more easily such as nobility or perhaps certain sorcerers who have tinkered with powerful potions or enchantments could live as long as a man or even an elf. The same could be said of any race however. When you bring magic into the equation it really isn't a reflection of natural lifespan. On average the Orcs live the shortest lives, many dying young on the field of battle.

Argonians seem to go through phases and may have the ability to become more humanoid or elven by licking the Hist. Any effect on their lifespan is unknown, although if compared to real life reptiles they may be very long lived compared to normal humans.
