I don't care if the orcs are too ugly to be "relatable." Remember, the other races were the ones that shunned them, labled them Monsters, and started the mindless killing of them. From what I gathered, they started off trying to talk themselves back into being accepted in society, only to be met with sword. So, then they tried creating their own place, and having to kill non-orcs on sight to avoid the same thing happening to them.

Only once the orcs of Orsinium got a control stick for a Big Stompy Robot capable of conquering the whole continent, and used it to smash High Rock to pieces did they get a chance to say, "Alright, now can we talk this over like gentlemen? Or should the beatings continue?" after years of "Heya, I'd like to... AAUGGH! STOP STABBING ME!". Simply because they're too ugly to be seen as Humanoid.

I don't mind them being very green. I just hope their more this, and less this.

Neon colors in general are bad.

They should change their appearance to a Middle Earth Orc style, the current style looks awful.

And a Middle Earth Orc would look worse. They are playable race, not horrible and stupid monsters...

I would like them to be... well, not so green. And with some asian look (their armor is mongolian-ish)

I made a pretty beastly looking orc in Oblivion by making the eyes a bit smaller, enlarging the jaw and the space between the mouth and the nose, and squaring off the jaw. I also made the skin red but that was for my own personal style.

I would like Orcs to feel a lot heavier than the other characters. Maybe have a different sound effect for footsteps, Bosmer should get this treatment as well but in reverse. I would prefer a grittier darker orc than Warcraft/Warhammer although not so dark that they are type cast as a moody [censored].

I never really liked Oblivions Orcs. I always picture Orcs as... Menacing, scary, maybe hulking. Oblivions where just... ugly... which I can understand, but thats all they had to them. Ugliness and lots of bright green.

Still, I've always liked how L2 did they Orcs... Made me want to play them. With some face improvements we could make him pretty terrifying.

I'm confident nobody wants them to look like big sized goblins or green men for that instance. If an Orc tells you he'll rip your arms of if you don't shut the [Insert Orchish curse word here] up, you will take him seriously, and not like in Oblivion, the guy in Cheydenhal, buzz buzz buzz guy, you know him, he was pathetic.

Orcs are my favourite race, then comes the argonians but I'm still desiding between argonian or an orc for my Skyrim virgin playthrough. If Orcs look badasser than ever, then I'll play as an Orc for sure

I personally hope Orcs are improved statistically. Their Strength should be higher or at least equal to that of Nords and Redguards. True, Orcs are ugly, but in an intimidating kind of way, they look as though they SHOULD be the physically strongest of the races.

They're not thee strongest race, but they're one of the strongest. However, they're the most durable race in the entire game, able to weather spells and weapons like no one's business, and when angered, they go completely ape [censored], becoming one of the most devastating fighters ever seen.

Keep them with the stats defining them to be a tank than a fighter. Nords are the balance fighters, redguards are the stabby stabby fighters, while orcs remain the more intelligent (well, females at least), rock hard, slow, unagile, not as strong as nords but still quite strong, and willpower rivaling a mage race.

The Oblivion orcs just looked really stupid. I'll chalk it down to Bethesda being inexperienced with facegen at the time.

I agree. If Bethesda can reinvent orcs, by all means...but I think Blizzard has mixed a good combination of beastly with attractive and cool.
