You won't see me playing as an Orc anytime soon (only race I haven't tried in Skyrim), but I have no problem with how they're portrayed. I like their strongholds also. Just don't have any interest in playing as one. Same with Khajiits and Argonians, but I did briefly try those two.

I stick to humans and elves for my characters.
