I seem to have broke the quest line somehow. I went into his house and picked up the letter off the table and a book. I saved the game here after I got the update telling me to go to the cabin. Two days later I loaded this save and noticed I had no quest marker, I looked at the quest it was not updated. On the table the letter and the book were gone. I searched my inventory and only found the book. How did this happen?

best wishes, previous game saves? other than that you could just skip the quest and try another then come back to it and see if it fixes itself when you do a different mission.

You could go to Jenseric's cabin and see if he is there. It is just North of the road 1/3 of the way to Cheydinhal from the IC.

this was on ps3 so that code is useless. i checked that cabin and he was not there.

Did you get the quest from Ralsa Norvalo and visit Seridur? Or just go to Jenseric's house first?

yes i got the quest from ralsa and i visited seridur. i took the letter in jenseric's house and the quest updated then i saved the game and turned off my system. i loaded the save 2 days later and the quest marker was gone and the quest wasn't updated. the letter was not in my inventory and not on the table but everything else i took from the house was. sorry for bad puncuation, spelling, and grammar i'm on a psp.
