Ok so im trying to get my smithing skills up and im minning in different mines getting different ore.


Well none of the veins are respawning. I went waited over 4 months in game time outside the mines and still none are respawning whatsoever. Is there anything im doing wrong here? Is this a glitch that can be fixed?? Please help!!

there are cheat mods that will fix problems like this. sometimes routines in these games don't kick in. sometimes doing a cold boot will correct glitches.

I got it for ps4 though. Is there anyway of fixing it on ps4?

This usually works for me on vanilla for veins in mines only.....


If the vein is visibly refreshed but not mineable (or sometimes not looking refreshed despite adequate respawn time) leave the mine then turn around and go straight back in....the veins normally then switch on.

There is no color to them whatsoever!!...i love bethesdas games but this bs is getting old seriously!! They gotta be the only game company i know who puts out half broken games....what the hell gives?!?! I mean seriously bethesda , you need to do some kinda patch update to fix missions that are glitched and issues like with the minning

FYI-most of the smiths sell ore as well ... and they replenish their stock every 2 game days.

You can also find a crap ton of ore in the wilds (certain kinds) if you look hard enough. I do melee characters 98% of the time, and never have a problem with finding materials.

Point is that bethesda knows the game has these problems but yet wont do patches for for it. I understand they got other games to work on but come on now!!

Not every bug effects every person. I, for one, have never seen the bug you have, and it's quite possible that something just misfired in your playthrough. Skyrim is a big game, with a lot going on, and that makes it easy for bugs to occur.
