This discussion is mostly geared toward hardcoe mode, but can apply to casual mode as well.
I for one feel a bit overwhelmed with the sheer amount of weapon, ammo, aid, and crafting items. In hardcoe mode this is challenge compounded.
Definitely enjoying the new crafting value of all these new items, but organizing it all can be a bit time consuming.
Please don’t say take “X” perk, please don’t say use “X” companion. We know about the perks that allow for inventory/carry buff. We know companions can function as pack Brahmin.
I’ll start it off with some general tips:
*Energy Weapon Ammo: Condense your ammo into overcharge or max charge ammo. This is going to condense your ammo stock, allowing you to carry more It is going to tear up your weapon, but you’ll be shooting a lot less with the buffed damage rate.
*Stop being a walking weapons emporium: I love walking around with a wide variety of death dealing tools, but in hardcoe mode this become less practical. Go with a 2-3 weapon load out. I go with a long distance weapon, a close range weapon, and a melee (for those low HP hordes). Do you really need more than this? Bonus points for taking weapons easily repaired.
