Confirmed:
  • Crash Site from C2 will return, but it will be refined and better
  • C3 on PC will have 16 players, but only 12 on consoles

Nice one Jack, asking for the release date, why don't you google it and save the question asking for people who actually want to know some NEW info.

So basically what we learned: 16 players on PC, Crash Site will return, challenge system (social ingame), game will be easier for noobs so they don't quit in the first hour.

Now find us a German translator for the German part of the Q&A! :D

Sadly, most of the question were unimportant ones. I spammed them with questions for the anti-cheat and Powerstruggle, but they haven't answered them.

Same, I mean really did we have to sit and listen about "vegetable growth" instead of learning some actual decent info about gameplay? And that question "where did you get the idea for the bow" has been asked and answered about a million times over the past few months -.-

I asked them if they're going to patch more often and if you can modify and create more than 16 players..- _-

Damn...I missed it. Sounds like I didn't miss much though.

Maybe they should read the forums and simply answer the questions and address the requests their gaming community has been begging for since C2 came out. :/

That's lame about the 16 player cap in MP....PowerStruggle...RIP...

I'm pretty sure it's on loop here: http://www.origin.com/gamescom/crysis-3

Someone from Germany want to translate the German parts for us?

I watched both the english and german live chat:
- There will be some vehicles, but at the moment they can't go into detail
- supporting the game depends on it's success / community, if the game will be successfull as Crytek hopes and expects, it will be supported over years
- Crysis 3 is in development since some time before the finalisation of Crysis 2
- Crysis 3's gameplay will be different from nanodome to nanodome (or level to level)
- The game will be more like Crysis 1 regarding benchmark on PC (it will last a while as game for graphic whores (like me :D )
- Crytek is working with ~130-140 people (but experienced staff, staff who knows what to do :D)

UPDATE:
I remember Cevat said that a lot of players from Crysis 2 wanted the gameplay from Crysis 1 .. that's why they are also working hard on bringing more gameplay from Crysis 1 than 2 into Crysis 3.
They have also rewritten the AI but there is still a lot of work to do.

That seems incredibly awesome, but most the things you mentioned were in the German chat, right? Never saw any mention on support, vehicles and other things in the English chat!

Funny how they always answer the stupid non-controversial questions.

Its almost as if they don't want to answer questions that the fans won't like the answers to.

do they want their game to be a success? Start by adding more than 16 players and make a gameplay similar to the Crysis Wars one. At the moment this is Crysis 2.5, same gameplay, same city, same style: cloack on
