There are a couple of fakes out there, never met one, but sometimes when I sign up for somewhere It is already taken...

...Usually by a long inactive person :stare:

Seti I - one of my favorite pharaohs

18- one of my favorite numbers

And here I always thought your username as a variant of "AYEM AE SEHTI AE VEHK" Conspiracy!

Since the origin of my username is rather obvious for anyone on these forums I'll tell a short story about why I decided to use it.

Back when I first got my X-box live account* in 07ish I took forever trying to think of a username. I had recently watched A Scanner Darkly and decided Darkly sounded pretty cool. My thoughts were as so:

"Hmm, a scanner darkly. Darkly... Forever dark... Eternal Darkly.... EverDarkly! Huzzah!" And so my first internet username (that I can recall) was born as EverDarkly. I still like that name, but after a while I thought it sounded kind of "emo-ish" So I changed my gamertag to numerous things I don't remember until I finally decided "Hey, Morrowind is my favorite game of all time. And I really like how they call you Outlander..." So bam! Outlander93 became my gamertag.

And since thing I've used Outlander as my username everywhere with slight number variations if someone has taken "Outlander." And in some cases I use numbers first then regret it later. Such as my original account here. I joined as Outlander1621 back in February 09 but eventually regretted not just trying "Outlander." so I made this new account.
Sadly I never got to do that with my gamertag because someone has taken "Outlander" and doesn't even use it online! They apparently just registered on
X-box.com for the hell of it cause they don't even have a gamerscore or avatar :(

*spoiler for length
Spoiler
I actually got a X-box 360 at launch but back when I made my LIVE account microsoft hadn't implemented the system they have now where you can just convert a offline account into a online one. So, I sadly deleted my original x-box account and created a LIVE one. I don't remember what my actual original gamertag was. :/

Edit* I really despise how when you make a post these boards change your spacing from what it was in the post editor.

MadocMayhem.. I love alliteration, I joined up here first on the FO forums.
So I took Modoc.. made it Madoc as I'm mutso, then added Mayhem to drive home the Mrazy.

Many years ago, I started playing Runescape. (I've quit now.)
I've always been bad with coming up with names, so I just took "Kamikaze." Unsurprisingly, it was already taken, so they suggested "Kamikaze919".
I haven't gotten any better at names since.

Grinder is a song by Judas Priest (the song itself isn't that great), and I think it's pretty decent username.
5 is my favorite number.

It was a youtube username that I decided to use since I didn't think I'd be sticking around here. Like others here I'm so used to 'Revo' I'd probably respond to it in real life.

I like the word Mumakil(Oliphaunts from LotR), and messed around with the spelling and liked the sound.
Then I changed the K to a T and presto!

I've always been called Tubi (pronounced Tu-bee, or ) I guess it's because my name is Tobias and it developed from Toby.

Noah was my first character on Morrowind, I use the name (with different spellings) for ALL my characters in every RPG I play. I can't remember why I stuck my birth year on the end, but it was also my first XBox live tag. I now use Noah Gnisisium. I loved Gnisis.

Ambrose is the supposed name of the main character of the novel of Ghosts of Onyx. 051 was his rank. I left the 0 off though, 'cause I didn't want it to be too blatantly Halo. It would have been bad for my health, I assume.

9 is a lucky number for me, I wanted a 0 in front of the number. In 2007 when I created it as my PSN account, my most anticipated game was GTA4, it was going to be "GTA409", but I was so excited I forgot the "A". Looking back to that day, I'm glad I forgot the A.

My Steam account, Phantom_of_the_Beast came from two of my favourite Iron Maiden songs, Phantom of the Opera, and The Number Of The Beast.

...it's my 360 gamertag, the first two I thought of were taken so I came up with it while reflecting on a few scenes in Shellshock 2... when the infected jumped me I'd grab their heads and twist it off... besides that, I've always liked drawing skulls and building engines.

For me, it's my real name. I be almost 99.9% of people think it's a fake name. I find it funny I can use my real name and be me, and not hide behind a fake name. :)

Are you Croatian by a chance? :P

Anyway, my name is only a simple nick, the real name being Romana hehe :hehe:

I have no idea. At all. I had to chose a new name, and I think I had read something earlier with Fate or Fatality mentioned in it, and it stuck with me. No idea why.

Actually, I've just realized my name probably sounds a little emo. Well, that svcks.

It's my name with 1 letter changed.

Oh my God, your name is Duck?! How cool is that!!!

Mine is very boring. I used to really like the movie Troy (before I knew anything about history  ), and I wanted to make that my nickname for this one forum I was on a few years back. So I added an "a" at the end to be more feminine, I guess. Troya was already take on IRC, so it became Troyatz. For some unfathomable reason "tz" just seemed cool at the time. Now "Troyatz" is my username just about everywhere.
