The lone wanderer
And replace the lone with fishy.
My last name is fish! So it suits me.

My friend told me to name my gamertag Fatman45, after fatman atomic bomb in 1945. I joined these forums a few days later and used that. No, I'm not a fat 45 year old man.

It was the name of a Morrowind character I had. No crazy backstory, sorry.

That's funny, based on your signature I always assumed that Rohugh the Bear was an actual character out of some children's story.

I can't remember actually. It was the first thing that came to mind when I was lurking around when MZ was released.

One of my very rare creative moments I suppose.

Batman gave my my username. Or rather, the Riddler, in Batman Forever. I'm quite certain it has been a common wordplay far before that movie came along, though.

And in case the memory needs jogging...
Bruce Wayne: "We're 5 little items of an everyday sort. You'll find us all in a tennis court". In... A-E-I-O-U. Vowels.
Alfred Pennyworth: Not entirely unclever, sir, but what do a clock, a match, chess pawns, and vowels have in common? What do these riddles mean?
Bruce Wayne: Every riddle has a number in the question and they arrived at this order: 13, 1, 8, and 5.
Alfred Pennyworth: 13, 1, 8, and 5. What do they mean?
Bruce Wayne: Perhaps letters of the alphabet?
Alfred Pennyworth: Of course, 13 is M.
Bruce Wayne: 1 would be A, 8 would be H, and 5 would be E.
Alfred Pennyworth: M-A-H-E.
Bruce Wayne: Perhaps 1 and 8 are 18.
Alfred Pennyworth: 18 is R. M-R-E.
Bruce Wayne: How about Mr. E.?
Alfred Pennyworth: Mystery.
Bruce Wayne: And another name for mystery?
Alfred Pennyworth: Enigma.
Bruce Wayne: Mr. E. Nygma. Edward Nygma. Stickley's suicide was obviously a computer-generated forgery.
Alfred Pennyworth: You really are quite bright, despite what people say.

My dad used to call my brother and me "wingus and dingus" (out of love, I assume) and wingus was just the first thing that came to mind when registering.

Hircine is my favorite Daedric prince though I wish I had just called myself Hircine as it wasn't taken then. Though I would have liked to have the name HK-47 but of course it was taken. In retrospect I wish I had gone with HK-50.

Had to come up with a name for my Diablo 2 character and this was the best I got after a full 2 minutes before I grew impatient and just wanted to go smack goblins around.

It was a rank in a RPG game that I designed that had total freedom to develop past game sections allowing the users own creations to be input.

The rank was the highest rank awarded to anyone who had managed to survive protecting the country of Vemon from the crusades of Talingata.

A brief description is that the planet of Acirive is divided into many islands and the two main ones are Vemon and Talingata. Vemon do not have a religion, the closest that they have is a deep interest in science. This fact caused the Talingata great unreast as they had originally come from Vemon 300 years ago.

The Knight Crusader rank is given to men for the use and understanding of knowledge. My particular character was given it for designing and utilising a machine that had the DNA profile uploaded to it of every man in Vemon. This then allowed the guns to seek the landscape and instantly kill intruders by splitting all bonds in their bodies and turning them into a pile of elements and stop friendly guns hitting enemies. This technology was also utilised in the far more favoured use of swords.

As this allowed me to defeat the other players I then proceeded to create a more efficient island as the war had destroyed many of the buildings. This game never ends.

It is a slightly altered excerpt from a Paddington book. Seemed appropriate. :)

For me, it's my real name. I be almost 99.9% of people think it's a fake name. I find it funny I can use my real name and be me, and not hide behind a fake name. :)

Well I thought, "Hm, what's cool yet slightly ominous?" "Soul" then I added "Withlife" to it for some strange reason. I'm not entirely sure why, but it's still pretty cool imo.

My name is the combination of two of my favorite TV shows, Firefly and The Simpsons. The avatar came shortly after.

It's gotten to the point where, with my name being unique enough for me to have never seen it taken anywhere, that I've become so used to people calling me it that I would probably respond to "Simpson" in real life.

Mikedzines.

Mike = first name
Dzines = profession = designer

Common mispronunciations include (but not limited to):

Mike-dzeens
Mike-da-zee-ness
Miked-zines
Miked-zeens

I guess it fails as design if it can't communicate properly. I suppose this is the part where I fire myself.
