Hey there. I have a bit of a problem, i recently acquired the GOTY edition of morrowind after already having the original version so that i could have the expansions. However when i try to load a saved game on the GOTY version it says i have no saved games. I read that you can load saved games from the original version on the GOTY edition on an old Todd Howard interview. So why isn't it working?

Yes, it should work with no problems.
(the Journal will go through a parsing update the first time, but otherwise it will be normal)

I can't remember if the 360 doesn't do this or not. I know being on the xbox I had no problem, but never tired it on the 360 so I can't say for sure. I don't think it will work on the 360 since it has some hic ups so I believe you will have to start a new game.

Just the way saves are done. If you go to your HD and see the 360 and original xbox games are saved a bit differently. This could be why. It is looking for Morrowind saves in the Goty Directory not the Morrowind Directory.

No you can not use saves from the original on the goty version i am sorry but have you played oblivion? if not try that game still awsum...
