may I ask if there is a chance that I will lose content from OOO if it adds people traveling through the roads, and getting attacked by creatures\bandits?

Do you mean if you might lose NPCs added by OOO because they might be killed by bandits/creatures? If so, no worries, as OOO doesn't add any NPCs traveling around roads (except for the occasional bandit etc. that might end up there). Almost all named NPCs added by OOO are bosses in dungeons.
