[REL] Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul 1.35a

OK, I've uploaded a new bsa to TES Nexus with the missing icons included. It has the same release name as before (OOO135aBSA). If you downloaded the bsa before 31/01/2015, you should download the new version.

Also, I've deleted the bsa from TES Alliance and am waiting for them to make the new version available.

That's really not a bug fix IMO. It's rather an issue with the game engine and the fix is a roundabout, so I'll leave that as a separate download.

Just a general FYI: There's an NPC named Orvas Meltraden in the lower level of Nonungalo. He's dead, but was placed standing upright. This isn't a bug per se, just an odd choice, and one I should've fixed but didn't. So, just ignore the standing dead guy - I'll take care of him if I ever need to update the plugins again. :)

that happened to me also in better dungeons. I thought it was a engine bug? It disappears on better dungeons as soon as you reload (For example I remember it happened to me specificially with a scamp)

Man, this was a bit messy. DarkRider has made the new bsa available at TES Alliance, but I'm pretty sure I removed the old one - although now there are two versions with the same name there. I can't download and check which is which at the moment (although the larger one should be the latest), so I'll get back on the case when I'm home and remove the one(s) that are unnecessary. (Pretty sure I've removed the missing icons file and the OOO135BSA archive as well, but they are still there as well...)

I've downloaded new version yesterday, and the icons are back.

New version is about 1MB larger than the old one.

That's good to hear. I missed a step when deleting the old archives previously, so now everything should be OK at TES Alliance as well with just the appropriate versions available.

Many thanks to Marshmallow for making the icons so easily available - I basically just added them and repacked the bsa. :)

Not sure if its reproducable or a rare thing, but i had 2 shadow wolves spawn on the roof of the cell in fort redman which has an oscuros related quest i believe.

It's not OOO - I checked both levels, and all the spawns are placed on the ground where they should be. It could be that a later-loading mod is screwing with the placement.

I was surprised to see it is still possible to take items out of some locked display cases without opening them. Has this not been fixed in 1.35?

What do I know? Some kind of physics bug probably. Did you never notice it? In 1.34 there were at least 3 or 4 of the Ayleid weapon display cases affected by it.

The last one in Umbacanos house for instance. I don't remeber the others exactly now. I would check all fighters and mages guild halls in Skingrad, Cheydinhal, Bravil and Lleyawiin. That's where it most likely was.

And I just saw that the amazons wearing the item 000GRASA01OOO have a pink slip, Didn't have that issue in 1.34. That was with BAB installed though if that matters. The armor also has noticeable clipping.

Noticed a strange glitch between OOO and Bashed Patch. Bashed Patch seems to tag the NPC "http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Athragar" as Auto Calc Stats because His "Calc Min" is set to 1. This causes him to not sell any of his spells and also his Alteration training to be set to Novice. I fixed this via setting the Calc min to 0 so that Bashed patch no longer tags Athragar as Auto Calc Stats.

If i find any other problems like this ill let you know

The Rest i found who have the same problems is Brodras, Celedaen, Dovyn Aren, Gaspar Stegine, Gin-Wulm, Hafid Hollowleg, Hauls-Ropes-Faster, Malintus Ancrus, Olfand, Tumindil, Ungarion ,Viator Accius

I'm pretty sure you have another mod causing that npc change. I have played with OOO for years and never had a guild member unable to sell me their spells.

I suggest you open up your mod list in TESEdit and find what mod is changing the record.

Already had done, Like i said OOO had changed (For example Athragar) its Calc Min to 1 which is causing Bashed Patch to tag that NPC as "Auto Calc Stats" causing him for some reason to not sell any spells and his training level to be set to Novice. After I set in OOO his Calc Min back to 0 (Which is what Vanilla is) in the Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esm and Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esp, Bashed patch has stopped tagging Athragar as "Auto Calc Stats" and he sells spells again (including the OOO spells) and his Training level is back to normal.

I have done extensive testing and this is 100% what happens.

Edit: Of course it would also be possible to avoid this problem by untagging both the ESM and ESP of the "Actor.ACBS" But that would probably cause other problems in the grand sceme of things

Hello I am pretty new to modding but i have used Oblivion Mod Manager for Unofficial Patches and stuff.

The problem I have with the overhaul version 1.35 i downloaded from nexus mod website is that its not working like other mods. the download gave me two rar files. 1 rar file had bunch of esp files and esm files and the other had only 1 file. that is where the problem is. the other rar file works fine with the mod manager but not this. here is what i did and couldnt go further.

1. Download of the file
2. I created an empty folder
3. Extracting the download file to the new folder - first problem: I couldn't extract the file because it is not .rar or .zip. Fortunately OBMM has a bsa browser. You get a long list of files. I told the browser to extract all files to my empty folder. In the end I had three new folders called meshes, textures and sound
4. According to the description I should copy the extracted archieve to the mods folder - second problem: I had no archieve but three folders. So I simply copied these folders to the mods folder.
5. I started OBMM and clicked the create button.
6. Now I should add an archive but I had no archive, only three folders. Please Help and guide me through a step by step process.

also, if anyone could tell me if the mod Realistic Leveling can be played with this mod, that would be awesome because the leveling system in oblivion is so confusing. Thank you again!
