Just to try to clear things a bit up: The ME for OOO is mostly a replacer. The .esp included only adds some misc encahntemnts to the new robes, so that they are a bit less usless. But since I did not play OOO for too long, I had no idea what is suitable for which robe. This plug-in does not change the fact that Mage Equipment is not really too compatible with OOO, because we quite often change the same things. I did not make much of hand placing, and when I did, it will most probably conflict with OOO. That is why I think it would be nice to include ME into OOO. Now, after a dangerousdungeon crawl you can find a nice and unique weapon or armour, but if you are a mage, you cannot hope for much. I thought that intefration of my mod into OOO could change this. It is not really driven by a desire to get more audience to my mod, but to improve OOO.


I took a look at the original ME for OOO and there was one thing that I didn't like - it edits lots of containers, in many cases removing the stuff OOO adds and replacing it with ME stuff. So it looked to me that more "generic" loot was replaced by mage equipment. And the edited containers did *not* use Harvest Cointainers and traps, which I though was weird?

what...? if you never see mannimarco it means you've never finished the mages guild quests yet...i don't think OOO changes mannimarco's appearance anyway. i use http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14200 which comes with OOO patch. i recommend it.

Indeed. I never completed any guild. Same thing with the Main quest. lol :embarrass:

Well, I had to delete the vanilla robes and replace them with ME stuff. But I do not know about removing any OOO specific items. As far as harvestable containers and traps go, I do not know. I have no clue how these things work, so it is likely I did something to them. Unwillingly. As I have said on numerous occasions, I'm no modder, I'm a modeller. I sort of understand NifScope and Blender, but that is about it. There are lots of things in the CS that are just beyond me. One more reason why I would be happy to see my stuff integrated into OOO, although it seems that this will remain a wishful thinking.

Yep, and I can't find my plugin anymore that I fixed this stuff. Has that one of things I fixed in my plugin, that is now lost. :brokencomputer:

I am not a moddler, but I am a modder. So I can help in this department, I will add to my list of things to do and try get a full Mage Equipment for OOO working once again. I am willing to help you Since I think Mage Equipment would fit nicely into OOO even if a Addon.

I'm having a small problem due to this mod (I think). One of the mages guild quests. The one where you have to find the book necromancer's moon, and talk to Tar-Meena then back to Raminus Polus. Well when I talk to Tar-meena and I go back to Raminus Polus and he asks me "Well have you talked to Tar-Meena about Necromancers" or something along those lines, but I dont have any new option for the task or anything, I cant complete it. I am guessing the problem is that I picked up the necromancer's moon from another location that perhaps this mod added (like a second book) and the normal location of the book before starting that quest. So I end up with two of those books at the moment that Raminus Polus requests me to go out and find it. Is there any way to fix this? Is this a common problem?

The problem was that instead of editing the OOO chests (which have Harvest Container graphics and Trap scripts) you edited the vanilla ones, so instead of being an OOO addon it instead became an OOO replacement, as far as the containers are concerned. If you know how to use TES4EDIT it's very easy to fix in a few minutes, though. But I guess CorePC will take care of things, as usual. :)

That would sure be great. I'm now reworking some of the models and adding more, just as the inspiration comes. Please, drop me a PM if you need anything from me. tes4view or tes4 edit are so simple compared to CS that even a modding-dumb like me can edit some things :D far easier than CS.

no...i don't use MMM.

EDIT: i'd rather say i have not noticed it so far, although i have not had too much fights with spectral warriors.

Now that you mention it... Sometimes I get a murder count that seems odd, but I never thought about any particular NPC connection. I think last time it happened it was when I ambushed someone with the Deadly Reflexes direct kill feature.

If you've found any "dirty edits" they should be reported to Dev_akm. I know he's cleaned OOO before, and I recall that some things that appear to be problems are not really problems.

er...NO. OOO is clean. Anything which T4E shows up as 'dirty' is intentional. If you clean it it will cease to function properly.

Which version of OOO are you running? That was fixed way back in 1.31d IIRC.

Version is 1.34 Alpha 7
It doesn't nearly happen every time, though. As with the MMM Werewolves it happens sometimes if I attack first (I always try to snipe them) or if they are "regrouping".
Of all the verios enemies I've encountered only the MMM Werwolves and the OOO Spectral/Ghostly Warriors have had this problem, as far as I can remember.
It's not a big deal, though, but I don't like when things don't happen as they should.

Believe it is fixed in Next Release, Can't say anything else about it..hush hush type of stuff..

I have had OOO+MMM running a while, hadn't played in a bit, loaded up the game, and it was working as normal. However, I added a couple mods - mostly just some clothing, but also Arrows of the Ayleid King. And now I noticed that all of the Ayleid meteorite weapons - blades, staves - are missing their icons in the inventory, and of course giving me the big yellow WTF exclamation point if I equip them, so missing textures. I deactivated the last few mods I added, and even re-installed OOO, but no luck. :(

edit: I re-did the 1.34 patch, and have the staves, but no arrows, blades or bows. However, now I get the purple missing mesh instead of the yellow exclamation point. *sigh* I screwed up somewhere, any help would be appreciated.

I managed to correct the meshes and textures, so the weapons are back. :)

I have already posted this problem in the OOO Spoilers thread but I have had no response, I really hope someone out there can help me, I would be very grateful!

I'm having trouble with the "Skyrim Bandit Clans" quest...
I believe I have done everything that needs to be done yet the quest still appears "active" and points me towards something I have already done...Here is the order that I did things...

1. Read the notices in Bruma. Got the quest update saying that i have read the notices;
2. Killed Vyka (?) (the "Attractive" woman, can't remember where). Got the quest update saying I killed her and that there is probably a man out there that has been manipulated by her;
3. Killed a guy at hidden camp with Lhotun's (?) Wish staff.
3. Killed Mylek (?) (the guy with the Dragon's hunger sword extreme NE of the map).
4. Found a note at some camp directing me N of Dragon's Claw Rock to find a major base for the Clan. Get quest update telling me the same.
5. Go to camp N of dragon claw rock and find nobody. I believe this is where I already killed Vyka (?) (Attractive woman).


And that's it. I have no idea what to do now. After looking on the net I "believe"

I just checked the quest in the CS, and all the "complete quests" boxes are ticked when the conditions are met. What version of OOO are you using? Try and upgrade to the latest one.
Could you post here the last entry you have in your journal? That would be a great help to know where you are :)

I remember looking at that quest a long time ago, because the woman in the camp had to be made essential unless the player was the one that killed her.

I almost get the feeling you may have completed the quest out of order, and then somehow reactivated the quest again leaving you with no way out.

Hey folks - quick question regarding the Sylvan Rangers. I tend to drop by their camp every so often to follow them on raids to make money for my spending habits :). Recently, (probably for a good 10+ hours of gameplay) the Rangers run to the ruins, but never enter them to raid them. The result is usually me running into the ruin, firing off a couple of spells to get the bad guys all P-Oed and leading them out to the Rangers for an elven battle for the ages.

Is anyone else experiencing something similar with the Sylvan Rangers? I don't mind bringing the bad guys outside, I was just under the impression that the Sylvans actually ran through/raided some of these Ayelid ruins, and not just hung around the outside of them :)

Ok I have just copied the journal entries into my phone so that I can post them here....

1. "I have read an official warning in Bruma...their greater level of organization".
2. "I have defeated Vyka...impressive cape precisely from one such fool".
3. "I have read a letter from Vyka addressed to Marlek...influence Marlek's decisions and his want to avenge her".
4. "In a Skyrim bandit camp near Cloud Ruler Temple I found a note...perhaps Vyka's camp lies on the north of Dragon Claw Rock and the Silver Road".

Points I should mention are:
1. There is no journal entry telling me I

defeated Marlek. I killed him between entries 2. and 3.

2. I believe I

killed the guy holding the Lhutun's wish staff between entry 2. and 3 (although not sure if this guy is even important).

3. There were additional pop-ups that were not journal entries after I

4. If I click map on the journal it just focuses on me (there is no quest marker)

I am using OOO 1.33 Complete which I think is the newest stable version (?)

i started a new game with OOO, 9 days past, and so far nothing respawned, all the body for example at vilverin still lay where they were killed. i don't use any optional respawn plugin.

what can i do to reset the spawns???
