Other info from the french magazine

It's on the top-left hand corner of the spider pic. Very small type.

oh, yeah, I kinda missed that one...

I think it doesn't make sense. it's just like you said : "armor is in two pieces: torso and legs, like in Morrowind"

that whole sentence doesn't even make sense

Only the torso and legs?? Only two armor pieces besides the helmet? That is extremely distressing.

I'm hoping the French editors had no idea what they were talking about when they added that in.

I think they meant that in another way. I don't think they'd make so little armor combination possibilities. after all, this isn't fallout: the goal isn't to survive. you CAN decide to look good!

and like I said, it doesn't even make sense! In morrowind there was a lot of armor slots, and at the end they said "like morrowind"

Pete Hines' tweet
@DCDeacon Will the armour system work like it did in Oblivion/MW where there are multiple slots for our apparel or like Fallout's 2 items?
@Rhysuzaki Multiple. We aren't making a Fallout game. We are making an ES game. What works in one doesn't necessarily work in the other.

That does raise my hopes some.

*Sigh* Don't you love clueless writers?...

yeah I love it when they make a sentence that denies itself.

Though if it's true, it won't be much of a big deal for me. I always wore fitting armor anyways (maybe mixed leather and fur a few times, but that's all)

looks outta place and clunky imo.

It matters to me. I can understand everything Bethesda has done up to this point with streamlining, but reducing even more apparel customization? That's simply NOT making the game better.

Though, I'm not too worried now. That little bit in the French magazine is just a misunderstanding on their part.

One of the cool things about more apparel customization is that you can spend more time in the game searching for a full set of armor, for example. It can be a very fun and rewarding quest in itself.

basically, "lancer" means throw.
and in the context, in pretty much was "-one or two handed, bladed, blunt or even throwing- weapons"

But yeah, it could also have been the journalist simply meaning bows... I hope he's not

Well, after that gaffe about the armour slots (2 slots, just like in Morrowind, right?!) I'm not sure we should put too much weight on a single choice of word... :/

Now that I think about it, you're probably right.

I've read the most false info in french magazines anyways (about all kinds of games)
Better to wait confirmation in later articles, or even in gameplay videos

The journalist who visited Bethesda probably has English as his second language.

it's probably the french playstation magazine, from the looks of it.
But like I said in the intro post, I only got to see a few scans (though I won't link to them 'cause I don't want to get banned)

A possible translation for this "armor is in two pieces, torso and legs" means that your leg armor comes in two pieces (ie not one pair of boots together) and your torso armor comes in two pieces (either means separate pauldrons, or a pair of pauldrons separate from armor) I hope it separate pauldrons. Very rarely did I wear one type of curiass, and and two of the same pauldrons that differed. Usually it was the cuirass with one matching pauldron, and one mismatched pauldron. Such as Steel, Steel, Iron.

Did U ever find a full set of daedric in MW without killing Fyr for it? ;)

Don't worry too much about the "like Morrowind" contradictary quote.

People add "like Morrowind" to a bunch of stuff without even knowing what it was like in that game willy nilly.

One of the most used ones on this forum for example is "I want there to be no level scaling, like in Morrowind." People remember what they want to remember hehe.

I was not implying that they were. But forgive me for not writing down every country that has not had Skyrim coverage so far. :cookie:

You kinda were, since you said Brittain was the LAST to get coverage, when there are many other countries which also have not got any coverage.
