Can anyone help me? I am unable to access Nexus mods in spite of all my efforts to get my registration accepted!

I was 'welcomed' to the Nexus forums on registering but when trying to access the mods for Fallout 3 I am told 'name not recognized '
On re-registering, 'This name is already in use' Go figure! I cant.
I sent a email to the moderator? but no answersa at all.

So, where else can one get the mods for Fallout 3 and New Vegas please?

Planet Fallout hosts some mods but they have nowhere near the selection that Nexus has.

grp2 couldn't be more correct, it will be worth the work to get your Nexus account proper :tops:

Hello! Well, Did as suggested and got a hotmail address, re-registered with the new stuff ie, 'skarl2010@hotmail.co.uk etc' this was accepted, I got a ackowledgement to say I will receive an email within 10 minutes or so.
So far nothing!
I am in despair now with the problem and don't have any further ideas as to how to proceed.
I have tried everything in the stickied page re problems.
But thanks for the interest in my problem

The e-mail didn't end up in your spam folder or anything like that?

No, I ALWAYS look in there, as sometimes stuff I want ends up in there. But, a good question! I knew after I posted, that I should have clarified that one!

Hello again. Still no further with my registration etc. As I said, got the 'welcome' and 'email sent' prompts but nothing arrived? I am now on skarl2010@hotmail.co.uk password is 'beguiled' all minus the quotes. Any further help on this please!

I checked the exim log for the site (that's the email log that tracks all the emails sent from the server) and there's no record of your email address having been sent anything. Are you sure you typed your email in correctly?

If so then I'm going to have to manually validate your account. All unvalidated accounts are deleted after 24 hours so we're going to have to synchronise! If you can register a new account before this time tomorrow and post the username here I can do the rest from my end.
