Well, not exactly into the blue but anyways.. Does anyone know if there are any means to check why the game suddenly started to crash? I played FO3 with the mods and all I have for ages now and had no problems at all. Did most quests around, got main quest to "visit Vault 87" stage, had traveled in most areas around and in DC and everything was working fine, no issues at all. And then suddenly, when leaving Megaton area - which I have done countless times already - and trying to save the game, FO3 just crashed. Totally out of the blue, it had worked without any issues up to that point. I had done no changes at all, I was in the game all the time. Reloaded some older save and same thing. I can start the game, play it fine but whenever I try to save it, it just crashes. Creating news saves makes no difference, deleting all existing saves and then trying to save totally new and fresh save makes no difference. No idea what happened. No changes was done in game itself either, I mean major storyline related changes like Enclave patrols appearing after a certain point in main quest - I was already ages past that point and they had been around for a while. I had visited that area and saved games in it without any issues earlier as well.

So now I have a game what I cannot save. I can play it, no problem. I checked all of the areas around Megaton to see if there's something "screwy" which may cause it but no, everything is the same, nothing has been changed. But now it just doesn't save anymore...

I like FO3, I really do, but these weird crashes what it keeps having are really really ******* me off.
