Outfits and armor sets will come in a one piece suit

Post » Thu May 19, 2011 10:33 am

I think what pete ment was that the clothing COMES WITH the armor set. So if you wear any bit of say studded leather armor you also get its clothing.

Like for some armors you might get leather backstraps and some pants with a canteen on it and with anouther you get a quiver and some leather pants and a belt...

This way the armor set and the clothing always fit together without clipping and such.

This is bad news to me, this also means that everytime you kill an bandit or something youll get a full set of armor, before they didnt always have all the peices now theyll have to.

Pete Hines stated 11 days ago that armor comes in separate pieces.

One possibility is body, boots, gloves and helmet/ hood, same as a robe setup in Oblivion.
Fallout did not have separated boots and gloves.
I seriously hope it’s not so but avoiding to have all the tops fit to all bottoms would make designing easier.

Yes, and no matter how many times you repeat that or how big a font you use to do so, the magazine quote from after that statement says otherwise, and then Pete's most recent tweet, in response to questions about the magazine quote, only said that it was not going to be "Fallout 3 one piece" and that we were going to have to "stay tuned."

To the OP and others who are concerned, that's where it stands. We have two apparently contradictory statements (though it's also possible that they're both broadly true, somehow) and a third statement that doesn't really clarify anything and says we have to "stay tuned." And that's that. Anybody outside of Beth who tries to tell you any different is jumping to conclusions.

Correction: We have one definitive statement from a reliable source (one of the people who works the company making the damn game and is in charge of marketing it) and one statement from a damn video game magazine that runs counter to both it and circumstantial evidence we've seen in screenshots.

It's officially a landslide.

I don't in any way want full suits, I want to be able to mix and match as well as having the option to wear a full set, Options is what as rpg should be about after all we are supposed to play it our way
