Has this been confirmed one way or the other?

It's irrelevant when your Vault is new, but it becomes quickly unmanageable. Your dwellers can literally die in Survival mode while you scroll through your equipment lists just to give one dweller something that starts with a "high" letter. Wasteland Gear will kill you for sure.


And thanks to Sell X objectives*, we have to keep all that stuff on hand.


* And, you know, needing that stuff to equip our Dwellers.

yeah, I wondered as well why the same type of outfit no longer "stack" if we need to see how many we have, just put an "x5" or whatever in the corner for the equip list, not just the inventory management list

I HATE this! It's making the game almost unplayable. Why would they DO this to us?

That's why I'm trying to confirm whether they view this as a bug or a quality of life "improvement."

unplayable because of unstackes items? well, the update messed up my savegame. it crashes the app when i try to load it. so the app itself is unplayable

I hope they patch this up quick. The new update is awesome but this is a killer. Changing one dweller's outfit has gone from a ten-second task to well over a minute. More like two or three minutes if you want a Wasteland Gear.

Like I said, if you're in Survival mode, spending that long in a pop-up menu can lead to permadeath elsewhere in your Vault.

So even if it wasn't just INSANELY inconvenient, it would be bad for more than just our patience.

Again, all this thread is requesting (for now) is Bethesda to tell us if they consider this to be a bug or a feature. That's it.
