It's over due time for patch 1.2 to be announced

Post » Sun Feb 14, 2016 5:30 am

There are so many things needed and wanted. But overall i would love to know what is on the horizon.

A few things i would like to see:

1. Auto stim pack use setting

2. Traders

3. A way to remove dwellers off our vaults and turn away the ones waiting

4. Turret upgrade for the vault door

5. New rooms

6. More ways to increase happiness

7. Legendary to show up as yellow from the wastelands in dwellers inventory

8. A way to stop raiders and death claws from going room to room

9. Unisix armor

10. Handy man to be allowed to collect on dwellers training

What would you like to see fixed or added in 1.2?

Let us save and transfer our vault(s) from device to device in case something happens or we want to upgrade devices. I have one vault that is from the beginning of the game that I would like to be able to move to my ipad from my iphone and play it there too. This should be everyone's main priority imo. If my phone gets broken I do NOT want to be out of the time and money I have spent on this vault!

Agreed. It would be nice if they'd give a running estimation on when the next patch is coming. Even if they keep having to revise the date farther out, a general clue would be helpful.

The crashiness is getting annoying.

We need to have a save file backup and a fix for the crashes and data loss. Like you said I would at least be happy to know their working on it because it's been way overdue

there is a way to backup your savefile if you use iexplorer and copy the vaultx.sav file off. Use your googlefu, it's quite easy.

Question, what do you mean in regards to "unisix armor"? You mean armor that can be by both genders? Isn't that almost all the armor in the game?

Keep in mind, Bethesda is still working on Fallout 4 as well... Which is more than likely, their main concern as of now. Getting it ready for release. But Pete Hines has said they plan to update the game for quite some time, just need to be patient

@Koopsta, you should elaborate so that people who don't know what you're talking about can gain an understanding.

@Muthodes, he means that Endurance directly affects the amount of health points your dwellers receive AS they level, including endurance on outfits that a dweller had equipped. Which means it's almost pointless, beyond rad resistance, to level up endurance on a level 50 dwrller, because the benefit of high endurance is lost.

It is best to place your level 1 dwellers in the endurance training room BEFORE you begin leveling them because the health point gain is NOT retroactive. This is not a theory, the code was backward engineered by the community -- and a lot of people are pissed off about it, especially in a game where people tend to dump more real world money on it per developer time spent than their actual desktop/console games.

Let's face it -- we are obsessed with time management, resource management, and population control games. To spend weeks, if not MONTHS slowly leveling up 200 dwellers to max SPECIAL and max level, only to find out their health is gimped is demoralizing.

We invested in the success of Bethesda (what was it, 15 million in the first week?) only to be given an unethical character development system. The only way to really recuperate the losses of a completely endurance screwed vault is to begin euthanizing your own cherished vault dwellers by the dozens or maybe even bring your population to just under the death claw threshold (59?) and begin the eugenics program.

So, yes, all those legendary dwellers are terrible, too, because they don't gain the maximum efficiency health pool that a super solider put through rigorous training from birth will have.

Maybe that's why death claws are wrecking your vault?

The difference is staggering, in fact: a vault dweller leveled to 50 BEFORE maximizing their endurance will usually have between 280 and ~300 health, depending on how much you trained endurance or if the dweller was wearing endurance gear as they leveled. Primarily because the Objectives encourage players to level really fast, the training room doesn't appear until a little later in the game, and we were left in the dark about how endurance functioned.

Health on a dweller who has trained to 10 endurance at level 1 and equipped a +7 endurance outfit will have ~654 health points depending on how much endurance they were born with.

You may notice some of your guys and gals die faster than others. This is why. Check Reddit for the math. I don't care to repost the link. I'm a bit frustrated at having wasted my time raising all my guys endurance.

But like I said, euthanize and start a eugenics program to save your vault from chaos. As Overseer you truly are a bastard -- we were given no other choice than to die or begin our own little Spartas......

Just give me the auto heal and stop making the dwellers run around like chickens with their heads cut off every time they're trying to manage an incident.

Yah because apparently this multi-million dollar company cannot spare any "manpower" to fix their broken games. Sorry but by not even making one official response this whole time on the load crash bug it has just shown how little they appreciate their customers. Thousands of loyal Fallout fans have gotten burned on FS, just a cold hard fact! :cryvaultboy:

It is true that Endurance only provides health point increases as the dweller levels, not after the dweller has already leveled up.
