Hi there,
I am a huge fan of TES and recently purchased the legendary edition of Skyrim. I have been reading and watching modding tutorials for the last couple of weeks. Currently, I am reading the beginners guide to Papyrus and stocking up on modding knowledge. Papyrus seems like any other scripting language which is kinda nice because reading scripts and learning programming languages is somewhat of a hobby for me. I really can't wait to start modding, and that could be why I am making this thread. Truthfully I wanted a place where I can bounce some ideas around with people and get feedback on what I'm doing.
Now that I have introduced myself I want to go over some of the mods I am using to supplement the experience I want to get from Skyrim. By some I mean I am just going to compile a list of mods that have greatly enhanced my gaming experience and illustrate how they have influenced how I want to develop my mod as well as point out possible compatibility contingencies.

So, now to get to business. I have some particularly interesting changes to the game in my opinion. I first want to say that most of the game looks great and if you have any suggestions on the visual aesthetic don't hesitate to make one. I am afraid of water mods so I opted out of the higher performance versions and went with the "Pure Water" mod from steam which isn't too much for my system.
I love how difficult the combination of Frostfall and Requiem is, but unfortunately Requiem doesn't quite meet my prerequisites for roleplaying. I will not be uninstalling Frostfall but this mod I am posting about aims to replace Requiem for me. Don't misunderstand though, I love the challenge and roleplaying aspects of Requiem but there are just a few things I want to change to make it a truly phenomenal experience for me. I also want to focus on balancing just a little bit more than requiem. I think the author did a great job attuning the balance to be difficult but there are a few things I want to add or subtract to enhance the experience. I also want to incorporate more restoration based damage capabilities. Mostly I plan to do a Perk and Spell Overhual to make the game more interesting. A lot of this is probably to be expected of a newbie to modding so i'll just kind of skim through the long bland explanations and start categorizing planned changes.
Spells/Perks/Attributes:
Restoration
Shield Dash- Dash forward up to (x) feet in front of you and smash into an enemy dealing (x) divine damage to the target and staggering them.
Divine Aegis- Imbues your shield with divine energies increasing the damage of your shield attacks by (x) and providing (x) defensive bonuses based on that. (ie: a standard bash would increase your blocked damage by a percentage for a short duration)
Smite- Call forth a pillar of divine energy that sears the target for (x) damage.
Rite - ( of Vigor- An aura that allows you to regenerate (x) health points over 60 seconds.)(of Prayer- An aura that increases magic resistance by (x)% for 60 seconds )(of Zeal- Increases all divine based damage by (x)% for 60 seconds)
Plague Swarm- Draw on occult energies to curse your enemies with The Black Death swarming them with infectious fleas dealing (x) poison damage over (x) seconds and jumping to the nearest target if the cause of death is the swarm. Additionally, fire can stop the noxious poison from spreading.
