Overhaul mods.

I am looking for the best overhaul mods for fallout 3. Is their a package of a few mods merged together? Also looking for some high resolution texture packs, as well as weather and better lighting mods.

FWE, FOOK and MMM will change the gameplay completely. For weather, it's between Dynamic Weather and Enhanced Weather. Try 'em both, see what you like.

Ok i will look at them however i know that FOOK is awaiting an update to 1.2 so is it best to wait as im guessing the other mods will need an update in order for it to work with the new version of FOOK.

Arwen Realisms Tweaks are nice. XFO is severily outdated but still worth a try, and It's bubbly is a very good overhaul. WAR Weapons Apparel Radioton Enhanced was released lately. Might want to check these mods out.

And If you're looking for a different approach to the ammo system, try out my mod Ammo Limit :) Fully compatible with all overhaul mods.

Trying out XFO at the moment and love its modular nature. Allows me to get used to all the changes gradually instead of being knocked senseless by a totally new reality. It also seems more balanced towards fun and not overdone tedious realism which can lead to frustration. Arwen Realism Tweaks are also modular so one can choose what they like which i have found to be plenty. At the moment am using the following in the game while waiting for version 3.4 of Arwen Realisms Tweaks:

You could easily get a bunch of smaller mods like XFO and mine to get the exact same feel. Just not the weapons that FOOK adds :)
