Ok people. Ive downloaded OWB and spent 3 hours getting my arsed kicked by Roboscorpians. In your opinion, whats the best weapon loadout to kill these little critters.

I was waiting to hear an answer to a similar question in another thread, but I don't think the guy I questioned actually played the DLC.

I'm sorry, I should say I have been waiting to hear a *serious* answer and not something like: "use the debug gun"

And I don't even know wth a "Disintegrator" is.

I simply use the emp gun you get from the scientists to knock them out then pound on them with the protoaxe or something. Works for the labotomites as well.

I found by accident that having both shotgun perks plus the robot perk, the riot shotgun does a pretty good job at stopping them.

Bring something silenced. Preferably scoped. The map is tightly packed. One gunshot and they swarm on you like zombies.

Anti material rifl with AP rounds...I didnt get a chance to do this but CZ75 avenger with AP rounds could rip anythign in the mojave up with just one clip, and the DLC's

Silenced sniper rifle with AP rounds is your best friend. You see something in the distance, kill it now so you won't have to deal with it later.

-Lots- of ammo.

I went in with about 140 .45 rounds for the pistol, 100ish 12g magnum for dinner bell and around 150 12.7 rounds for the survivalists rifle and I ran out sorta fast.
Don't expect to find/buy more than 30 rounds of anything other than .357, .44 or .308.
I think there's a good amount of EW ammo, but I didn't pay much attention to that.

I used the Holorifle for just about everything. I took a lot of MF OC with me.

The Paladin Toaster is very useful too. The Sonic Emitter will freeze opponents with a critical hit and then Boom wit da fist. Killed a lot of Roboscorpians that way.

Pulse gun. I didn't bring it and I'm seriously regretting that now.

The Proton Inversal Axe works for me, even with my low melee skill. If you can't find one then there should be one in the Cuckoos nest or in the VR room of X13 research center.
I'm not sure what the difference between this and the normal Proton Axe is, but its a darker colour and seems to work better IMO.
