Ok I have an idea, instead of just buying a house and buying upgrades on it. How about you let us buy our own plot of land either in rural or urban areas. Either we can keep and work with the house thats there or destroy it and start over. Make an awsome editor for exterior and interior use. For example maybe I buy a plot of land on a mountain. I then build my own Log Cabin on it and maybe a horse stable, etc. Just a good customization and home editor option. Instead of just buying some house, with some furniture.

While I would love to see an in game house builder, a more reasonable request might be to hire a carpenter, and select the building you would like him to build on the plot you purchase. When you check on his progress periodically, the house is in different states of construction, until it's done. Later, you can visit this carpenter again when you want to add a library tower, or a trophy room.
