OXM-UK info & screens II

Post » Sat Jul 10, 2010 8:51 pm

Slightly off-topic, but isn't there supposed to be a new podcast today? Thought I read that somewhere on here.

I'm not quite sure mate.
In the mag,it mentioned the OXM interview with todd howard ( which we've seen )
It also mentions a podcast,it says to head to i-tunes-where todd reveals behind the scenes info, but i have not seen this at all.
I checked it a day or so ago, they all seem to be older one's.
So i would like to know about that podcast too :)

I can't really explain, it just looks stupid to me.

Just look at http://static.zenimax.com/bethblog/upload/2011/02/167198_10150099679227809_103316012808_6163793_1100254_n.jpg.

Ahh.. the eternal hornet helmet debate, gotta love it. To me the thing about getting bonkers about is a rather cliche way of thinking "It's only stupid and uneducated people who think vikings had horned helmets. So opposing them in any way must make me a smart and educated person". One thing is of course the scenario where the person is a high fantasy fan, who usually plays as sophisticated and tragic high elf living in his Ayleid Manor or a goth vampire drinking cyrodiilic wine while lamenting on the prejudices of the daywalkers. This kind of savage over-the-top barbarian stuff is like throwing acid at their face. Well, Skyrim is a barbarous and savage place so just try deal with it. But hey, I'm drunk and shouldn't be flamin' in these boards, so ignore what just wrote.

If you want to bring some magic into the mix, through,a quick-menu for your left hand allows you to swap out the shield for a chargeable fire spell-

So the quick menu is only for the left hand? Can we not equip a sword to the left hand and shield/magic to the right?

It also says "dust ups" are far more involving.

What does that mean?

What does that mean?

It's related to the 6th combat skill. Featherduster.

I can't wait to dual-wield featherdusters.

A lot of old information. You could've limited the content a bit.

No....The quick menu is for both hands probably,as for having a shield in your right hand as opposed to your left....i don't know it doesn't say mate.
We'll have to wait and see on the latter bit,but i can't see why not though.

What does that mean?

Dust ups....as in combat.....the combat is meant to be more intense and tactical......Just the way i like it :)
