I saw this before, but I didn't see the part about the buildings being build-able in the real world? I'm sure there will be many Shivering Isles References.

Carelessly drop an axe in a forest during an afternoon's bear-slaying, for instance, and a merchant chum might retrieve it for you later. Behead him as punishment for running his filthy, lucre-loving fingers all over your prized weapon, and he won't be able to enlist you as a caravan escort - but his unsuspecting widow might. You get the idea.

"Behead"?
I hope Todd didn't say this as a figure of speech.

Todd didn't say it at all. Or did he? There's no actual quote so we'll have to assume he didn't.

The paragraph starts with a quotation mark but after reading your comment I noticed it doesn't end with one :dead:

If it's not a figure of speech I hope those of us that don't like gore can turn it off.

More than likely creative writing from the articles author. I can't imagine Todd saying that honestly.

hold on... unlimited draw distance doesnt even make sense....what are they talking about, the fact that an enemy a mile away will have the same detail as one in your face? or that I can see everything if I look in one direction when im not there? because last I check on a good day you can only See 3 miles in any direction -at- sea level, if Im on high hrogthar thats a whole other story, and in that case, would I be able to see IC? since you know, unlimited Draw distance and Largest Mountain peak in Tamriel and all that jazz.

I assume they just mean your vision is not artificially limited by a fog, or everything disappearing past X distance. Things will still look small as distance increases, details will be lost etc. It will mimic real vision more, instead of being artificially limited.

I havent seen it, so it was a nice short read.

Caravan escort missions? I like the idea of that. Probably means that there are horse-drawn carts in the game, or at least pack mules.

He says he wants to remake Daggerfall... That sort of implies that High Rock will be accessable as the city is on the opposide side of that province to Skyrim.

Not necessarily. He might be talking about a future game...

He said he'd like to see the city redone, as in they didn't do it properly before. That does not mean they are going to have it in Skyrim. That wouldn't even make sense.

It also doesn't mean they'll ever do it again. It's just him talking about what he would like to see, not what they are actually going to do. I'm sure if you could sit down with Todd and asked him about what he would like to see in future Elder Scrolls games he could talk for hours and hours, but not all of it would end up being done.

Daggerfall is a port city. So we could get there from Solitude.
