Hi-Rez skin.

Does anyone know where the full version is?

Only the split file is available on TESN for 4096 and the mirror points to Megaupload and we all know where that's gone - (thank you FBI or whoever) - the split version doesn't unpack properly.
It's my own fault I need them again because I accidentally deleted them, but nevertheless it would be handy to know...?

Cant link you directly because its advlt, but on TESN you are looking for tesn / downloads / file.php?id=20022

There is a 2048 option there.

Tip: Once you have the installer, you can direct its output to a folder (not in your Oblivion installation) .. This way you can choose all your preferences, creating a folder which you can then zip as a BAIN for Wrye Bash, or create an OMOD out of.

Then if you find you are not happy with your choices it is easily un-installed, and also easily re-done with new choices to the same folder .. Rinse and repeat :smile:

Yeah I have the 2048, but I want to upgrade to the 4096 resolution - which comes in 2 parts which fail when they are recombined - that's my problem. The mirror for the 4096 single archive is no longer available...

It's not even as if I want it because I'm being mucky! I'm just upgrading my texture files is all!! :D

Linking to advlt pages, frowned upon by the mods. :smile: That's why alt3rn1ty didn't.

I had no issues the the 2 parts. Did you rename it properly first? And maybe try another archive software.

Well someone needs to be the first one who can circumvent forum rules without breaking them. :whistling:

I've no idea because I never install the textures into my game. :smile:

To what?

[edit] ...aaaahhhhh!!!!!....[/edit]

From the description ....

=== How to ===
1. Please rename the file name and download body texture files. ("v1_2_part" is renamed to "v1_2.part", and "-20022" is deleted.)

4096x4096_Default_package_v1_2_part1-20022.rar ->> 4096x4096_Default_package_v1_2.part1.rar
4096x4096_Default_package_v1_2_part2-20022.rar ->> 4096x4096_Default_package_v1_2.part2.rar

Please unpack by using WinRAR

Unpack part1.rar (WinRAR recognises there are two parts, and automatically unpacks both parts as if it was one file), the resulting unpacked folder will have the contents of both parts unpacked.

Yeah, you need to use WinRAR http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

7-Zip works too. You just need to select all the files and extract using the part one file which will combine the extracted files into a single folder. Then you just need to repack as a single archive.

Doesn't work - least not for me.
It does recognise there is more than one file but the second archive appears to be corrupt.
I've DL'd it 3 times now.
I also managed to extract the first one independently of the 2nd, but the 2nd still fails.
Gone for 2048 instead - (again) - it's irritating but less hassle ultimately.

Which program are you using to perform the extraction?

Try 7-Zip to see if it does the job. Remember to select all the archives and extract the 1st one, all of them should remain selected. Best way of doing it: Select all -> right click on part 1 -> the extract option you want.

It's a multi-volume archive which depends on the end of the filename being correct for all of the parts to be recognised.
You need to ensure that the last part of each file is .partX.rar
Then right click on *part1* and extract. Part 2 will be extracted automatically with it

I managed to get it done but I had to manually expand both parts into one folder, I'm fairly certain that's not right. However, it seems to have worked though...
