Pack-Animals

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 12:26 am

Well I think the title speaks for itself, no real need to go into detail about this, except for the fact that I was disappointed that this wasn't included in Oblivion. Go ahead and share your thoughts.

Edit: This topic is about using animals to carry equipment/loot, not about animals roaming in packs.

Ahh, they will just be in the way. Keep it simple and use the GBs for other things, such as better animations or more quests. I personally am not a fan of followers/pets or any of that.

Rats.

I'd go for a rat as my pack-animal.

I would like to see pack animals, but only horses and mules, or other such creatures. Having a pack mammoth, or even worse, pack dragon would be utterly ridiculous, in my opinion.

Pack animals would be a nice addition to the game. They had a Horse and Cart in Daggerfall that was quite useful and easy to deal with. Made travel between the towns safer as there were no random encounters during fast travel. However it greatly increased the carrying capacity.

I voted yes, you can have a pack horse if you want, even though I'll never ever use one myself, 'cos sometimes you have to be nice like that,

And how do you like you'r steak prepared? I want to know so that I can do everything in accordance to the way you do them. Options be damned! :whistling:

But yeah, I'd like a donkey, horse, mammoth or whatever. A cart pulled by a horse or something would be awesome if they include such things.

:shocking: Juar insane man? A Mammoth may be in the Way, but its such in a GOOD way. Tisar like to see some hasbaggen try and mess with me with Ol Brutus behind me and his massive Ivory spokes. my only cry is he can't come dungeon trampling with me.

I like the rat, mammoth horse and cart options. Thought I'd offer another though. I'd like to hire young willing idiots to be my apprentices (essentially they would just carry all the stuff and run around behind).

Nothing at all, I just didn't think/remeber to include them. Ah, I don't want to go back and edit the poll every time someone thinks of something I forgot, so just use the 'other' option and make a suggestion I guess.

Horses and Mules and Mules, as well, pack mules and mounts would be awesome. Carts attached to the back would be cool.

Mammoths and Dragons would be awesome, but flying on the dragons might be hard to do and unbalancing. Mammoths would be kind of the same thing. Unbalancing, cause of their huge carry capacity but as just a mount it'd be awesome.

Also voting for other, having one of tehm Saber tooth Tigers would be a nice addition.

So far it would seem Mammoths are the second most popular, next to horses.

Well, at least most people have refrained from voting for pack dragons...
