Package Question - Using Idles

Post » Sun Oct 27, 2013 9:06 am

When listing idles on the Idles tab of a package, is there a way to control (specifically, to shorten) the length of time that lapses between idles? I've tried messing around with Idle Time Setting, but that doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for.

I have two idles that I would like to play continuously in a loop. They do, except for the fact that there is a long pause between each time an idle plays.

A big thank you in advance to anyone who can offer any suggestions.

I don't know much about Packages myself, but depending on the situation in question, you could try editing the patrol data on the idle markers themselves, which should limit the time your actor spends at them. Right click and "edit" the marker, hit the Patrol Data tab, check the Patrol Data checkbox & edit the time there to whatever your desired time is.

Thanks. In my packages, I'm not using patrol markers, however. Using them wouldn't work for this situation (the alias NPC could be in any location, like a follower).
