Just noticed the annoucement that early next week it will be time to move to the new website to continue our epic and interesting chats. Even though I'm new here I find myself quite at home, obviously those who are on the other forums as well may have their reservations like i do for the new format etc. As far as I know pictures / videos are allowed on the new forums?? which unlock new possibilities

I know i may be in the minority for this but how would everyone feel about more sticky / permanent threads for discussion of specific topics, I know some threads would eventually become too bloated but It'd be cool to see a compiled thread of certain subjects. Such as:

Post your character builds thread

Settlement thread

(New) survival mode thread

etc. how would you feel about a system like this? Sugesstions for other permanent threads like this?

It seems I will not be able to join you all over there.

The only way I have to "surf the web" is on my PS4 browser.
And, the new site is not yet set up to work on console browsers.

However, the new forums are butt-ugly.
And, having to scroll down half a page just to see new posts...lame.
I hated the "pinned-bloat" we had happening on these forums...the new ones are frelling worse!

I'm a little iffy on the new forum since I'm mainly mobile, but I'm gonna give it a fair shot before downrigt quitting. I do believe our show yours threads should be sticky however, due to their nature.

So far not impressed at all with the new website.

I'll lose my entry on page 2 of the members list when sorted by 'join date'.

From what I've heard, mobile is pretty bad, console is just a bummer outright.

I took a peak at the new forums and they are a bit lackluster.

It's not organized in anyway and the design is hard on the eyes. Why are we moving?

The million dollar question, why are we moving?

Maybe more-options/less-work for the Mods?
For one thing, they may not have to close threads after 200 posts anymore...that alone will ease the workload for them.

Judging from the 20 + page thread about forum feedback I think you're correct, no more thread closures. Hopefully fix the quote system? I cant figure out how to quote anything. It just gives me blanks lol
