Padomaic Abyss: Lore buffs needed to check narrative

Hey guys, so several people have asked for the story to our ongoing project: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/2100984-padomaic-abyss-an-8-month-project/. We could use some help from any lore buffs in double checking for any inaccuracies or contradictions in our narrative. Please bear in mind that this is not intended to be story-quality, that would take an entire book This is just for fact checking the major events.

Warning: What follows is everything leading up to the events of Padomaic Abyss. Naturally it's one big spoiler, though it doesn't actually tell you any specifics of what you'll have to do in the playable part of the mod.

That's an interesting plot. My thought is, why not make use of the pre-existing maelstrom of Bal? It is a whirlpool in the abecean in which ships are known to disappear, and which scholars speculated in The Doors of Oblivion might be a portal to oblivion. You could have "Zir" be the sload title of Molag Bal, or perhaps one of his servants. It just seems a bit odd to have two daedric whirlpools in the same ocean!
