Paid for a Game that is Broken

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 11:10 am

Bethesda did an amazing job on the concept of the game but failed out of the gate with the lack of proper testing and going to market on a product that is broken, which should not be ready to sell to the public. This game out of the box is a lemon and Bethesda is trying to pick up the pieces. I myself from day two have had to start and stop the game just to play it. Now after the patch, that was supposed to fix the issues, the patch has made the issues worse and created new ones. The first day I bought this title I was impressed with the amazing gameplay and concept, along with the free roaming world of "do what ever you want". After the first day of gameplay the feeling of content has slowly went to discontent then with a patch that was supposed to fix the issues sent me deeper into feeling I got duped on this deal, paying for a lemon product. I hope Bethesda does something to save this title because as for now it is sitting collecting dust and I am starting to feel Bethesda should give me my money back for this brokem product.

Most people aren't having any game-breaking issues.

Again, opinion being stated as fact means it's probably trolling. Not saying it doesn't have glitches, but it's not unplayable like you say.

These bugs aren't happening for the majority of people.

Of course, that doesn't make it alright.. but every game has its bugs.

No issues here...but I always wondered what it felt to be a troll.

Do you want some cheese with that whine? You do realize that it's a new game? I bet people have paid more money for less, at one time or another. Don't you think? For the few bucks you dished out on Skyrim, you got a great game. I would have bought it even though it cost 1,000 dollars. Just because i know how awesome it could be.

I disagree.

Been playing since day one and I haven't found any game breaking bug even after the second patch.

It's not broken. Don't say "we" like you're speaking for anyone but yourself. I paid for a game that's running beautifully.

Don't feel like the game is broken at all, i respect your opinion and your right to give it, but i haven't seen any glitches really and have found this game very fun and entertaining. SKYRIM RULES.

Flawwed many of us would get behind. "Broken" is just silly. You even mentioned yourself that you played it for a while.

For the majority it's not broken to the point where it's unplayable which makes your issues low priority.

The game isn't broken, your logic is.

People just troll so damn much on these forums for some reason.

If there are 50 things that don't work properly yet, there must be at least 500,000 actions that do work properly. It's huge...they'll find the things that don't work. We'll have DLC down the road and years of play. This was all expected; the game is huge. Hang in there.

This absolutely needed a new thread.

No seriously, use the search function and you will find other 9001 threads that are exactly the same.

While I don't consider Skyrim broken there is way too much Luck of the Draw involved when getting it. I've played on PS3 and Xbox(probably should have gotten for PC but oh well). PS3 I was one of the unfortunate people that got the framerate issue that got to the point of unplayable sadly in less than 20 hours in. The 360 version has worked perfectly straight out of the box with no patches and my game is around 70+ hours.
