Paralysis enchantment question and unlimited uses

Post » Sun Dec 29, 2013 1:07 pm

I have a weapon with the Paralysis enchantment.
What I would like to know is the % chance for the paralysis effect to work.

I also have somehow got unlimited uses (which I do not want). I put it so I have 6 uses but nooo, I have unlimited uses. How? Why? any way to fix it?

Does spell cost reduction increase weapon enchantment uses because I do have 100% alteration reduction.

25% Chance, and, yes, Alteration discounts effect number of charges.

thanks.
My character needs her ring with fortify 2H + Alteration enchantment or Merkiller (Wuuthrad) is useless on legendary.

I guess I'll have to make a new ring then.

If I was to unequip the ring and use all uses then equip the ring, will the enchantment stay empty or will it still work.

You really don't know the answer to this after 7000 hours of play?

I have never use the paralysis enchantment. I didn't know spell cost reduction effected weapon enchantments.

nearly 6,700. :)

I love learning new things about the game.

I don't know for sure, but I can guess.

If you use all the charges available, there could still be a small amount of charge left, even if not enough to actually "use" the enchantment. If that is the case, then I would think the enchantment would still work. If it is completely empty, then I would think it wouldn't work, but this is Skyrim. Weirder things have happened.

That being said, why would you want the enchantment to be "empty"?

It does. Enchantments & Potions affect spells, weapons and staves.

I just wanted to rename Wuuthrad. I don't need the enchantment but I had to enchant it to rename it.
