I always thought it would be cool to be able to write on parchment that you find in Oblivion if you had some ink and a quill. Wouldn't it be neat to keep a journal of your character's progress or write down recipes for potions you wish to remember? Am I the only one that cares about this? (I'm sure I am).
It doesn't really matter, I just think it would add to the roleplaying a bit. And it most likely wouldn't be hard at all to implement bliviongate:
I think it would be pretty neat. I always keep parchment, quills, and inkwells on my person when roleplaying mages and such. So, it would be awesome to actually do something with them. If the developers have time, it wouldn't be that hard to implement.
This would be a great idea, although it will more than likely never be implemented as it is such a hassle for us with a console and no keyboard. (I play both PC and Xbox versions of tes games)
In Oblivion the simple task of naming a spell different to the default was a nightmare. So the chance to jot down notes or write about experiences is easier to do with a pen and paper.
Well I use Journal Mod by Kyoma http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15294 For adding notes in-game to my journal
Thanks I planned on downloading that a while back but got sidetracked.
With the CS it was possible just to write an in game book that you could update after playing http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g376/Indep/ScreenShot91.jpg
Alot of older games had entry points in the main player journal. They could do this surely, maybe have a dump file that can be opened with a text editor as well.
It would be awesome to be able to leave yourself notes like "Armor" and "Weapons" on chests in your house. It's certainty not high on my priority list, but it would be cool nonetheless. Plus it would be amazing to role play. You could write a book about your adventures like Bilbo, haha.
Absolutely. This one feature, which may be considered as small and unimportant by some, would add tenfold to the roleplaying experience. Definetely a must.
Now, we just need something to stick the psper on npc, with jokes writen on them...well, we should stick them anywhere... But they disspear after some time.
It'd be nice to do, making notes and stuff on places you'd been and things you saw. But if that wasn't an option, I definitely think enchanting parchment to make scrolls would be the next best thing.

Yea, and making "flyers" that we could stick to doors could be fun... we could make fun of Jehovah witnesses, in Machinimas.
