Yeah....I lost 5 characters and over 200 hours due to the patch. I have been lucky with bugs until now(I've been playing since launch) but after this I'm kinda spent.....I mean, how can this happen?

They shouldn't have released the patch unless it was tested properly. Then they wouldn't have to respond to anything. I just want to play my game but currently I haven't been able to thanks to the company that made it. And yes I tried all the options posted here and I still get the error message and the freeze on my two characters (level 35 + Dead Money done and Level 5 main quest at Boulder City).

Alright, I just downloaded the patch and everything is working well now. The game's running well.
