Patch Download for PC (non-steam)?

Post » Thu Aug 18, 2011 4:11 am

I purchased my copy of Fallout: New Vegas on a disc rather than through Steam, and while I've read about the game's patches being distributed through Steam and the xBox and PS3 networks, but I cannot for the life of me find a download for the Fallout: NV patches on the official web site or.. really anywhere else!!

Can anybody help me out? I'd love to update so that I can start using some mods that require NVSE, since that requires a version of NV past what I've got.

Thanks!

On PC, patches are distributed through Steam and Steam alone.

Is there a way, then, for me to 'hook' my version up to Steam to get it to update?

For all I know, if you bought a legit copy of FO:NV, it comes with Steam.
This is also true for disc versions.
On install of NV, if you don't have it already on your pc, Steam will be installed and will automatically install all patches.

You shouldn't be able to install it without Steam at all, I think.
Unless of course you own a pirated copy?
