Did the patch already come out for 360 and if it did, it informs of you of the update correct?

If a patch has been released then start the game on the xbox whilst online and you should receive an update.
If you do not receive an update then it has not been released yet.
Since you're asking out of the blue I'm gonna jump the gun and say: No, it has not been released yet.

Yeah i thought so... well THanks! :slap:

and yeah i turned on my xbox and since i didn't see the update window i thought maybe you had to Download it online or something (which i thought was highly unlikely but you can never be to sure).

Nah I think it updates automatically for each system; Steam, PSN and Xbox Live. :)
PC is likely to get it first though. (Well, at least that's what Jason Bergman thinks.)

yeah ps3 or pc first, the 360 is pretty much all fixed. The update should come up automatically and you have to get it or you will disconnect from xbox live

maybe they'll make the monster stronger or something to that effect so when they bring in new perks or leveling it will be more balanced and you wont be all god like.

They aren't adding mods, they're (according to J.E. Sawyer's Forumspring) making weapon mods more available and fixing the inventory problem. Josh also said that the Tesla-Beaton Prototype and regular Tesla Cannon's ammo consumption will be reduced some.

XBLA update is not the same as a game update.

People, the difference is this:
1. You start up the xbox and get an update? Then it's for XBLA or the hardware/software/whateverware.
2. You start up the "game" and you get an update then it's a patch for that game.

i think they should raise the ammo consumption that Tesla Cannon is way over powered... :flamethrower: :shocking: :flamed:

PC and PS3 will get there update's out faster than Xbox will, For some odd reason xbox like's to take there time and screw around before the give it to the people.
Plus they have a hacker problem going on right now. I would think they are more worried about that than a patch.
I wouldnt plan on the patch comming out this week. Think more of next week or the week after.

Did you receive an update for the Xbox or for the game? Small detail with a huge difference.

Just loaded the game up a few seconds ago on xbox, no patch. That guy is either lying, or hasn't played New Vegas in a long time.

How about we close this?

We know for for fact that the PC and PS3 will get the their patches first, and that it's not out yet for any of the platforms.
