Patch 1.9 - Issues: Postprocessing (video inside) + Crash

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 9:00 am

Hi,
I'm having this issue, please check this video. Exactly the same problem.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNv-ubwRbbQ

I have to change manually EVERY time I run SinglePlayer or enter Multiplayer, or leave multiplayer and re-enter... every time.

?Any ideas of what is this?

My setup:
Win 7 64-bit
Patch 1.9 + DX11 + HR textures.
GTX 580 2-SLI. Driver 275.33 (Latest)

EDIT 1:
The game crashes randomly with DX11 + HR textures enabled (both singleplayer and multiplayer).
It causes black screen and Nvidia driver fail - NO OVERCLOCKING DONE

The PP is terrible in here is seems. As for the Nvidia Driver crashing, if you are overclocked remove them. and if not reinstall the drivers.

I had to disable dx11 and hi res close the game, then delete my autoexec.cfg and game.cfg, start up the game, and switch dx11 and high res back on to get it working properly. that was on an Ati 5870.

then there is something unstable with your driver or the GPU is broken. And application is not going to crash a driver unless there is something wrong with the driver or physical hardware.

Nothing is broken...
i'm playing Bad Company 2 non-stop every day and no black screen or stuff like that... driver is latest.
I saw few post with crash problems, i think it is a bad optimization of dx11 patch + tex + 1.9.
