FO:4 1.3 PATCH LATER THIS WEEK! :-)

Post » Tue Feb 02, 2016 9:01 pm

Just updated, some things during building seem to snap together a little nicer... but junk fences seem to want to place slightly in the ground. I'd say it's not the most noticeable improvement, would have rather they added a switch to turn off Preston Garvey.

Also, is it just me or did the weapon not loading when switching bug get worse? I just had it happen in an area that's sparsely populated where I've never had the issue before.

With 1.3 enemies never respawn after you kill them.

I assume the settlement assignment means we can see who is working on what? That will be nice.

How about TV and jukebox fix? I also wonder how much the happiness of settlement been affected.

It is unfortunate about the cult worship at night and the no responding enemies

Steam uploaded the new patch for me sometime today ( I didn't participate in the beta. ) I am now able to easily see what settlers arent assigned to a job and my companions can all be assigned to tasks now. I am very happy with the patch. Thanks bethesda!

It's good but for some reason sprint does not work at home, Red Rocket, neither PA nor normal.

No word about the item drop through bug? Is that not a priority for them or can they literally not fix it? We can now manipulate items we pick up. What for?

I wish they would fix it. Placing items to decorate areas is one of my favourite things to do.

I have never managed to figure out how to sprint so I didn't notice if sprinting is working for me or not :D

If you mod PA for fast legs you can just smoke across the landscape. You can run to the other side of whatever place you are clearing so fast they lose track. Fun. I use X on PC.

As well nades and Mutie Suiciders can be run from much better.

I hope this isn't intentional. Fatal end-game killer.

Yeah I'll second this. I am still playing my original fallout save because I just enjoy continuing to explore, work on companion relationship quests, and do whatever. It is at a hobby level for me; I play the game just to unwind. No enemy respawns just wrecks the whole thing. I wouldn't mind if they are toned down, but gone would svck.

I play on PC and launch the game thru the f4se launcher. They already have an update out- http://f4se.silverlock.org/

I updated f4se, uninstalled 2 mods that the patched fixed (Killshot Perk and Crafting Tables in DC Home Plate House), updated LOOT and ran it. I have 53 mods installed and played about 10 minutes with no problems.

Over on Nexus there were some user that were having CTD after patch and it was being caused by The Gore Overhaul mod. They uninstalled it and fixed their CTD's for anyone that might be using that mod.
