patch 1.4 vs powered power armer

Post » Mon Jul 11, 2011 11:01 pm

it seems that patch 1.4 broke imps great mod. specifically the mouse 2 weapon zoom button. has anyone found a fix/work around for this?

btw i am basing this info on a little on my own experimentation and what i read in the comments portion of his nexus download sight

No patch that I have seen yet. Really hoping someone comes up with one.

If I remember, that's Imp's new zooming method, correct? Cause I know that in the newer versions of NVSE, changes were made to the way mouse buttons were handled in the functions that requires older scripts to be changed a tiny bit. So more likely it's not a patch issue, but an issue with the new version of NVSE.

Yeah is there a patch that alters the zoom method for Powered power armor? Or just gets rid of the zoom features? I'd imagine someone who knows there way around nvse can delete those features fairly easily.

Anyone have any more details regarding the NVSE changes? I've been busy with another project, but it sounds like this will be a quick fix once I know what needs to be changed. Looking through the NVSE changelog, it doesn't mention any changes that would require updated code.

hey imp glad to hear from you. this my be of no help at all but i'v noticed two things. first if you have a weapon out and load a new area or saved game then that weapon will zoom fine but once you change weapons then you can't zoom again with any weapon. second i am using PN and noticed that when i sprint, again the weapon must be out, and resume walking then the weapon zooms fine till you change weapons.

just an observation. sorry but i cant answer the question you asked.

That's awesome, I was sort of dreading having to resuscitate both the standalone and nVamp versions of this mod - it's been a while since I've looked at the scripts, it'd take a bit to re-familiarize myself. I hope it works for everybody.

How did you make it work?
I cant even start NV if I use the Powered Power Armor mod with this fix.

Sounds like you have other problems. Even at its worst the armor mod would load, it just wouldn't allow you to use your right mouse button (or whatever you have that block/aim mapped to)

Is there a way to fix Powered Power Armor messing with FOVs and such? For me it seems to mess up the aiming FOV and DynamiCamera.

It worked when I tried it without the patch.
Thou that was a few days ago now.
Anyone have tried it + patch + Unified HUD Project?
